 The White Hart is a 16th century Inn situated within the conservation area of Alton Village situated one mile from Alton Towers. Recently refurbished, the bar area has a modern feel but retains many original features such as oak beams and walls up to 3 feet thick! Real ale affectionados will relish a pint of our Marstons Pedigree bitter, or one of our frequently changed guest ales. Of course we also carry a wide selection of other beers, wines and spirits and a warm welcome will await you from Jo, or one of her staff
Our chef, Warren, fires up the wood-burning pizza oven nightly and produces fantastic authentic Italian style pizzas (you’ll never want a deep pan again) as well as a variety of pasta dishes. We also offer more traditional pub food such as steaks, pies and Sunday roasts (on Saturday too!). You can eat in the restaurant area, the bar or the sheltered beer garden.
We cater for weddings, parties and other functions either on or off the premises and have our own marquees available to hire.

Our accommodation is simple and comfortable. All the rooms are bright and airy and have en-suite bathrooms with toiletries provided, tea/coffee facilities and colour TV. Breakfast is provided in the restaurant and residents are offered a 10% discount on all food purchases.
